N1 Art As Pandemic is a collaboration between X-Topia and Based Istanbul. Emerging during the pandemic, the Art Chain Game brings together works from 36 different artists in a digital, chain-based artistic experience, allowing connection without physical contact or passing of papers, at a time when we were physically apart.
Centered around the theme of "Reorganizing Reality", each participant has
24 hours to create their piece. Artists can only see the work immediately preceding theirs, and no personal information about the contributors is shared.
This preserves the mystery of each piece, enabling creators to follow their
own inspiration without external influence.
By building upon, modifying, or drawing inspiration from the previous work, artists continue the chain, generating new creations through anonymous exchanges. The game becomes a space where they collectively explore creativity, while expressing the range of emotions experienced during the pandemic, creating a unique artistic dialogue that unfolds piece by piece.
