We become part of human history through birth and death within a specific time interval. Depending on which time period we are born into, we live under the conditions of that era and evolve according to those circumstances.
None of these women were asked about their living conditions or dreams; no alternative life was ever presented to them. Moreover, they were diagnosed with hysteria without anyone knowing whether these diagnoses were accurate at that time.
We will never know the real reason why they had to live in mental hospitals, whether it was simply because they were women in that era, or if they were actually diagnosed with hysteria correctly.
Therefore, I wanted to create their parallel universe and show them what another life could have looked like if I had been able to meet them at that time.
